Quotes and bookings

Prices shown on this website are starting prices for a standard day and are not a binding offer. A booking exists once we have issued a written quote, you have accepted it and the deposit has been received.

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. Availability is confirmed at the time of booking, not at the time of enquiry.

What the price includes

Unless your quote says otherwise, the price includes a professional driver, fuel for the agreed route, and the driver's meals and accommodation on multi-day trips.

Park entry fees, tolls, parking charges, permits and anything else outside the agreed route are not included unless itemised in your quote.

Payment

A deposit confirms your booking. The balance is due before departure unless we have agreed credit terms in writing with your organisation.

Payments are made by M-Pesa or bank transfer to the business account shown on your quote. We will never ask you to send money to a personal number.

Changes and cancellations

Cancel more than 7 days before departure and your deposit is refunded in full. Between 2 and 7 days, half the deposit is refunded. Within 48 hours the deposit is not refundable, but we will move your booking to a new date once, subject to availability.

Changes to the route, timing or vehicle after booking may change the price. We will confirm any difference in writing before the trip.

On the day

The agreed hire period is stated in your quote. Waiting time or extra hours beyond it are charged at the rate shown on your quote.

Passenger numbers must not exceed the licensed capacity of the vehicle. Seat belts must be worn. Our drivers may refuse to travel where safety or the law would be compromised.

Smoking, and alcohol consumption where it is not licensed, are not permitted onboard. The hirer is responsible for damage or excessive soiling caused by their group, charged at cost.

Delays and liability

We plan for traffic and build buffer into every trip, but we are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control, including traffic, weather, road closures, accidents or actions of the authorities.

If a vehicle becomes unavailable we will provide a replacement of equivalent capacity at no extra cost. Where we cannot, we refund all amounts paid for the affected trip. Our liability is limited to the value of the hire.

Passengers are covered by comprehensive passenger insurance. Personal belongings are carried at the owner's risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
